Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Reservation:

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a reservation.

• Full payment is due prior to the commencement of the tour.

2. Cancellation and Refund:

• Cancellations must be made in writing.

• The deposit is non-refundable.

• Refund eligibility is subject to the time of cancellation:

  • 60 days or more before the tour: 50% refund

  • 30-59 days before the tour: 25% refund

  • Less than 30 days before the tour: No refund

3. Itinerary Changes:

• Krioula Experience reserves the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or other operational factors.

• Every effort will be made to provide alternative arrangements of equal value.

4. Travel Insurance:

• It is strongly recommended that all participants have comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and personal property.

5. Health and Safety:

• Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good health to undertake the tour.

• Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed before the tour.

6. Passport and Visa:

• Participants are responsible for ensuring they possess a valid passport and any required visas for travel.

• Krioula Experience is not responsible for any issues arising from inadequate travel documentation.

7. Responsibility for Personal Property:

• Participants are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the tour.

• Krioula Experience is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property.

8. Code of Conduct:

• Participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully toward local communities, fellow travelers, and Krioula Experience staff.

• Any disruptive behavior may result in the participant being removed from the tour with no refund.

9. Force Majeure:

• Krioula Experience is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

10. Complaints:

• Any complaints should be reported immediately to Krioula Experience to allow prompt resolution.

11. Photography and Media:

• Participants consent to the use of their images for promotional purposes by Krioula Experience unless otherwise specified in writing.

12. Governing Law:

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Cabo Verde, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cabo Verde Court.
